Basically, his 8 year old daughter spent $8,000 on accessories within these 'free' games over a few months. What does this mean? Well, firstly, that the dad should pay more attention....Secondly, I personally believe that it shows how out of hand the idea of paying for things in a free game can be.

No, relax, I'm not saying the same thing will happen with ESO; I'm 98% sure that Zenimax would make a much more reasonable shop, if we were to have one. Just posting this video/article and poll to get peoples thoughts on it. I've heard mixed info on this, between 'yes', and 'no info yet'. So, here's a moderately detailed poll regarding the subject.

Well, my wish of not seeing a payment thread for at least two weeks didn't last long enough.

I selected P2P with cash shop, and nothing in the shop because I hate them, but it depends what is in them.

Basically I don't mind the cash shop that WoW has, that currently sells nothing but mounts and vanity pets, but I don't like it. Its just tolerable and its not even as nice looking as the stuff you can earn in the game itself. I don't find it as offensive as the shops that sell everything possible.

I prefer P2P for reasons that are too numerous to list here because I've listed them dozens of times here alone.
