So i have just recruited cass, we llooked at here burnt caravan and on the way to the next. Also, I'm on the part for the Van Graffs where i have to bring her to Jean-Baptiste (MAJOR A-HOLE). ive tested it and i was correct in that she would be killed. i dont want to kil cass so i reverted to last save. So now i have a predicament, i can either kill cass, my favorite companion (tied with Boone), and carry on with Birds of a Feather, or spare cass and not be able to continue with it.

Is it possible to complete Birds of a Feather without killing Cass?

I don't think there really is. I've had Cass as my companion for a major part of my 100+ hours of play with one character and I've never taken her there - just had the quest sitting in my Pip Boy.

Should probably go wipe out the Van Graffs sometime soon. They have nice weapons.

but in order for me to complete a quest she has to die. i need a way to complete this part without killing cass. i also want to see what i get after completing this quest.

does anyone know what the reward is for completeing Birds of a Feather or anyway of completing this without killing Cass?

It depends if your siding with Legion then Keep Cass alive. If your siding with the other 3 then its your decision. I usually will have her killed but then again I always love killing the Van Graffs because you can make 20,000 Caps by selling all the weapons and Combat Armor plus the Hardin Mission.

the game makes you decide things. cass has her quest. you can't do both of them. van craffs have lots of loot. killing for profit, very tempting.
