CDSteam issue--do I have to buy the game again?

I apologize if this seems like a completely stupid question....

So, I have Morrowind (and Oblivion and Skyrim) on CDs, but my new computer doesn't have a CD drive. Am I going to have to purchase Steam versions of these games if I want to play them?

It just seems kind of wrong to be forced to buy them twice simply because of a shift in technology, however I'm guessing that's what it is going to come down to.

Piffle. :brokencomputer:

You could buy an external disc drive, but it would be cheaper just to buy the game on Steam.

I always make sure my laptops come with a disc drive, for this very reason.

You can't really blame technology advances for not supporting the game's format, for the same reason that you can't complain VHS don't work in a DVD player. :P
