Center Channel Audio Issues : Othor Games

Hello,

I have a 5.1 Audio setup. Is dishonored setup to properly decode 5.1? I seem to be having an issue where voices are echoed and coming from my sides and rears, my center is very weak. Is there proper center channel decoding?

Hi,

I have the same problem. It looks likes it comes from my Realtek HD Audio driver.
I tried to install the R2.7 driver from Realtek website, and it worked... 1 day... I'm looking for other solution !

After many tries, I finally downloaded Realtek R2.70 drivers from their website.
now it's working fine. All the sounds that should come from the center channel are played through both left and right at normal volume :smile:

Thank you for the suggestion. I am using an external decoder. I have a faily high end audio setup and am using a full amplifier outside my system. My pc has a creative Soundblaster X-FI card that runs Dolby Digital Live Encoder to my amplifier where it is processed. Any suggestions would be appreciated! (All other games work fine)

finally it was not a driver issue !

So? This is not helping AT ALL!

The problem here is that the central speaker is not working properly, all the voices and sounds that should be reproduced by the central speaker are simply mixed with the front ones... at the moment the game is just 4.1 compatible....

And it's not a realtek driver issue, I have a X-Fi Titanium with dolby digital live turned on, connected via spdif to my amplifier....
