my 2 cents (honest feedback)

sure, crytek sold us out. it's a console port and whoever tries to deny that fact is beyond blind. BUT in my opinion crysis 2 is still a pretty good game. it's far from what we all expected it to be before the demo but still... it's fun. also, considering it's a console port, it runs well, looks (kinda) good - and, most importantly - mouse aiming is actually fluid and precise. it just feels right, which is something most console ports fail to achieve.

remember bioshock 2? mouse aiming was a desaster. hours of messing around with the .ini files and it still felt like your mouse was glued to a 360's anolog stick.

there are a few things that are pi***ng me off though. bugs that were there in the demo are still there now, like the slightly delayed double soundtrack when customizing your equipment, the SLI flickering (which, to be honest, i didn't encounter at all on my GTX570 dual SLI system), the connection issues etc.
when trying to connect to a server there is a huge chance that the connection fails, and if it doesn't the server might still be full even though the server browser shows 12/16, and even if you're really lucky and the connection works, there's still a 50/50 chance that the game will never start and all you get to see is a bunch of pissed off guys biching and moaning (rightfully so i might add) in the server lobby.

whatever, i'm tired. good night.
