They are the same. No new hair colors or styles.

It's just like creating your looks like you did in the beginning of Skyrim. Only you can't change your name or race.

It doesn't add any new options such as hair styles.

She's located in the Ragged Flagon.

You speak with someone sitting in the Ragged Flagon in the Ratway where the Thieves Guild is located. She's sitting in a dark corner. I don't remember exactly but I think it either costs 500 or 1000 gold.

This is why I like buying games in stores instead of online... You get an instruction manual haha!

Do you have to start Dawnguard for her to appear or is she just a part of the download and any character including those NOT doing Dawnguard have access to her? Obviously they need to have ragged flaggon access. My character in question is the master of the thieves guild so she won't have a problem.

I better go check the several hundred games I own and make sure the manuals that came with them when I bought them from the store are still there.

Seriously, as far as I know, DLCs don't get manuals, only the main the game does because usually all the infos are discovered by reading previews, sites, forums, etc. Those things are usually a kind of "manual" for DLCS.

yeah I hear ya. It would be nice if there was some kinda in game memo or something in the discription that shows a list of whats included with the download. I know some do. But I downloaded Dawnguard and was playing it for 2 days before I realized you could craft dragonbone weapons.

No you don't need to have started the Dawnguard questline to be able to speak with the NPC who can change your appearence.

Also, alot of newer games aren't coming with game manuals anymore. They just give you an internet link where you can read the manual online. It's really stupid but I read in a magazine that they're doing this to "go green" and help save the world and all that mumbo jumbo.

Edited for typos
