Changeable clothes for spouse

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:49 pm

I would really like to be able to change my spouses clothes in Hearthfire, as it makes little sense to me that I have so much gold and Yosolda continues to dress in those dirty clothes. Maybe even just the Npcs changing clothes depending on how good the house they are living in is.

I most say I like this one.
I think you are on to some thing as its normal that a lady would use the money to get a nice dress, saying so a husband that has a rich spouse would do the same to show of a bit all people would.
so I say I hope they will put that in to the game

Clothes? I would be like "I own this place woman, now show me that bikini!"

Though yes, if you're married and you got lots of gold, you should either have that woman (or man) in whatever attire you want them to be in.

Change of clothes? I swear, this sis getting more and more like Sims.
But joking aside, I'd like that, at least to a degree.

My main character, the psychotic Dunmer Listener, Nightingale and Vampire Lord, is married to Jenassa. Jenassa married my character about 8 months ago of gameplay, and she still uses the Leather armour she started with.
Sure, it fits her, and I can change it when I use her as a follower (they're normally unseperable, I always have her tag along), but whenever she return home she changes back to the Leather armour.
I want her to stay in the Shrouded/Thief armour I got her, she looks so much cooler like that. She also matches my character better like that.

I mean, http://webgel.net/bf/2012-08-31_00001.jpg? Why can't she stay like that?

I like the idea.
Spouses should have wear clothing and attire we buy them when at home or in hometown. They should only wear armour when following us around on an adventure.

I can just imagine the smell.

I really doubt you will see these kind of options, all the looks from trailers and screen shots show very much vanilla content, and the whole blurb keeps saying building building building, if there was something like that they would have probably pointed that out. The same as if they were going to overhaul the marriage system, we get told about stewards, cooking, bards, skeevers, and outside farm garnishings, you would think that they would have pointed out say the lady of the house looking the part and they have not.

We shall have to wait and see, I won't be holding my breathe but.

They should have a "gift" feature where you can just give an NPC something instead of reverse pickpocketing. NPCs should also equip either the highest armor value or highest gold value item in their inventory depending on their starting preference. For mages and other civilians, they chose the most expensive item in their inventory. For NPCs that start with armor, they equip the item with the most armor protection. And they should stay equiped whether they are your follower or not.

They already equip the Highest rating armor they have, sometimes it can be mistaken by comparison because some of them have a Higher skill in Light armor than Heavy armor or something.

I think they should wear what ever you give them :I
