i have a lvl 54 character that i have been playing for a while, i have around 135 hours into her already. the character is a warrior type character that hasnt used any type of magic except for enchanting. all of my magic skills are below 20. i really like the character and want to take her into Dawnguard when it releases on ps3(shes completed the skyrim MQ and Dragonborn MQ) however all of my combat skills are maxxed out or near max so in order to keep going with her i have to start leveling up some magic skills. i got a pretty good idea in my head about how to RP it all out and have decided a paladin or cleric direction would make the most sense, especially with dawnguard on the horizon.
so my questions are:
is this a viable option or is it too late in the characters life to pick up new magic skills?
what are the easiest magic schools to skill up late in the game? and why?
will max enchanting with double enchantment perk be enough to offset my lack of magicka? i have put absolutely no points into magicka thus far could could create a pretty sweet set of magicka gear if i needed too =p
should i just start a new character?
please note i do not want to abuse any glitches or bugs
