I would like to change my nickname for the forums here.

Anyone know how?

Thanks!

Can't be done. Although you can request some minor things like capitalization or adding/removing a hyphen.

You don't have many posts, so you don't have much to lose from simply starting another account, as that's the only way to get a new name.

Thank you.

That's what I'll do.

Yeah that's not going to happen. The admins would probably fix a spelling error for you if you had a high post count, but if you want a completely new username then they'll just tell you to create a new account.

I just noticed that in my Profile Page on the right under User Tools it lists Display Name History with a popup for previous names it looks like.

Oh well...what's done is done :)

Everyone has it, but you still can't change it beyond a spelling correction, reduction of all-caps, numbers, etc.

Makes that option in your profile annoyingly pointless.

Your old name was much better. I can't take anyone with a dragonborn related username seriously. Just sayin'.

Interesting, I may go for a more subtle looking wonderwombat.

No, I think your name looks fine. The all caps and zeros somehow makes it pop, and in a non-annoying way too. :)

Well, I've had Brewskie for about 20 years. I still go by Brew most places because it's a play on my real name (BRian EWing). Though I did use SGT Brewskie in Wolfenstein.

I like Fragginborn because it not only fits with Skyrim but shooters too.

But, to each his own :)

Cheers!

Likewise I can't take a person seriously who makes that kind of statement judging someone's opinions based on their username rather than their actual posts.

OK, the OP has his question answered. The choice of user-name is up to him.
