Changing Render Window hotkeys

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:09 pm

I picked up Skyrim and CK again after a long while and thought of trying both out again.

However somethings gone wrong with my CK, I know it's a minor detail but it's annoys the hell out of me.

For some reason my render window "y" hotkey has been bound to "cycle camera view" instead of the binding that lets me move items only on the y-axis. I have no idea how to change this or revert it back to its original settings because going to Edit -> Render Window Hotkeys doesn't let me change anything, there is no option to change the keybinds, or at east I have no idea how to do it.

Is there any way of resetting the keybinds to their original settings where the y key would not be bound to camera angles? Or is there some way I can rebind c to camera angles and have y bound again to movement on y-axis?

You can't customise the hotkeys. Beth did this so that the x, y and z axis keys are together (I think)

That's the weirdest thing about this.

I realised I wasn't able to change the hotkeys after a bit of prodding about, but for some odd reason my CK has swapped the binds of y-axis and "cycle camera view" so that now my c key works for the y-axis movement, and my y key is bound to camera view, and I have no idea how this has happened, or how it's even possible.

I'm using a pretty normal keyboard, normal layout and no fancy settings or anything. As far as I know it's just these two keys that are affected.

Read again...

...Beth did this so that the x, y and z axis keys are together...

They swapped the C and Y key function.
