Many people are experiencing difficulty in changing weapons "on the hoof". The standard response is to change the weapons in the garage, but that did not work for me as the weapons did not appear on the menu and I was stuck with the miniguns.

I can now change weapons on the Monarch but I discovered it completely by accident.

I saved my game, entered the Monarch and then randomly pressed every key on my keyboard. On the left of my keyboard, there are " + " and " - " shortcut buttons normally used for zooming pictures. YEEEHAA!!

I can now use the minigun, rockets + pulsecanon.

Now I know that my microsoft keyboard is not universal, but there are keybindings to change the weapons, all you have to do is find them. So save your game, get in your car and press every button you can find.

Just roll the mouse wheel

This is what I do....

Rolling the mouse wheel was the second standard response which also didn't work for me.

However, my wheel is set up to auto scroll. If yours works, how is it configured?

I remapped all the driving keys. There's no point in using the mouse IMO.

Wsad steer/gass/reverse and then I use right shift for boost and right control for firing weapons and the up and down arrows for switch weapons. So much easier this way IMO.
