My Character has a sad expression all the time

What i've put the title as really, i don't understand why either, whenever i create my character he/she always has a neutral look on their face, but when i get out of creating my character they look sad all the time.

This is probably just a consequence of the fact that your character never actually makes eye contact with anyone in Skyrim.

I was so eager to play Skyrim, I spent only 5 minutes on creating my character. I should have spent 30 minutes or more. Like I sometimes do with a character in an MMO that I hope to play for hundreds or thousands of hours.

My Skyrim character doesn't look exactly like I would want to. Also, when we all created our first characters, we had only normal textures. Not the high-res texture pack. Or mods with improved faces. So your character might look different from what he/she looked like 4 months ago.

Is there a way to change your character's appearance later ? Is there a console command that brings up the character creation interface ? That would be very helpful.

Open the console -- hit the (tilde) ~ key-- type in showracemenu. Then hit the ~ key again. You can change anything about the character's appearance, but don't actually change the race. That will call problems.
