Character Isnt Left Handed! : V

So I'm left-handed (i know there isnt alot of people out there who are) but I just wanna say that im very upset at the fact i cant wield a sword in my left hand and a shield in my right. Go ahead and try, prove me wrong.

I agree. I am also left handed.. it's extremely weird to me that my character wields a weapon in his right hand, but I have to left click to attack

Thought I'm right handed, I prefer to have mouse 1 attack, but still have the left and right mouse buttons match my hands.

I don't think any game has had the option to be left handed. The option would just complicate things. I'm left-handed, and I'm over it.

Not left handed myself but I do agree it would be nice to have the option for all the lefties out there, how hard would it be to allow players the option of being left handed? Would it be simple enough to just invert the character models or would there be problems with doing this that I am unaware of?

I can't think of many at all. The issue is that you'd need to recreate combat animations for the lefties, reflecting them from right hand might work, I don't know, but it would be a far bit of work getting them aligned and scripted.

Only games I do know of that let you play left or right are the odd FPS, where there's less animations.

I have either magic or a weapon equipped in my left hand.

Can anyone explain to me how I set a weapon or a spell to my right hand? I can only equip 1 item or spell at a time.

The Black & White games allowed you to be left handed. Granted, the only interaction to the game world was through a 3d hand cursor, and all switching to left did was change the hand from right handed to left, just an aesthetic difference.

Not a big deal, but it would be nice. I still remmeber playing Ocarina of Time for the first time as a kid and how excited I was to notice that Link is left-handed.
