My character keeps randomly dying

Post » Tue Sep 22, 2015 6:56 am

My character keeps randomly dying. He passes away at the same point and I can't make any progress. I've tried taking several RadAways (even though I'm not radiated) and it didn't make any difference. I thought I die because of high radiation levels but the stat screen doesn't indicate radiation poisoning. I think I'm at 0.
You can take a look at these screens: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=130B665BF39DFD1!4288&authkey=!ADSNg-0k4zu4N90&ithint=folder%2C
I had the same problem once before.

Are you using any mods? Do you use that realistic needs setting?

I have a 144Hz monitor. The frame rate exceeds 60 (62-63) even when Vsync is on. Even after installing FPS Limiter for New Vegas I haven't been able to cap it to 60.

I've found the cause: it was performance enhancement from Buffout wearing out.

What the hell mod are you using where Buffout kills you when it debuffs? Unless you're not keeping tabs on your HP, the Buffout chem should only drop your HP back to its former level and so on.
