My character now has two arrows stick in his invisible head

The number of bugs is honestly pretty ridiculous. I can understand a huge sandbox game having some bugs but these are things that should easily be caught through testing. I mean the arrow in the head thing happened to me within the first 30 minutes of the game, how do they not catch that? The invisible head/body thing has also been there pretty much all the way through for me.

I mean the game is awesome but some of these bugs make me seriously wonder if they did any trial testing at all.

I have run into 1 quest bug so far with well over 75 hours game time. Other than the crappy textures (which tbh are not that bad at all). and a follower glitch... The follower glitch was the worst as I killed my dear sweet love Lydia.... I will hate Bethesda forever for that but no matter...

The game is not as glitchy for as it is for everyone else... And hell I loaded the game to my HDD 11/11/11 at 12:47am and no big issues yet. the glitches you are experiencing are probably fairly rare. Think about the millions that bought the game and then think of the maybe 40k people who are on here talking about glitches/bugs.

40k people experiencing issues.... probably 5 million having a good old time. If you have game testers before the game comes out what if all (guess) hundred or two hundred testers got saved games that were nut corrupt by anything. Or issues so minor they could release the game on time without holding back on it for another 2 years.

Im not defending them just using my brain.

There are some pretty big glitches though. Like if you get a quest item before you start the quest it breaks the quest. Those affect everybody should have been caught by the testers.

Fair enough. My point is a lot of these things should easily be picked up through testing. From talking to my friends who have it literally all of them have the arrow thing as well. I mean it's not as bad as getting stuck in a broken quest (which I did, but somehow got lucky to get out of the Season Unending/stomrcloack rebellion glitch) but it gets more and more annoying when there is constantly something stuck in your guys body or his face doesn't show up.

You have an ice shard? I have TWO! My friend had the arrow thing happen to him as well. Hoping that these damn ice shards go away after awhile. :banghead:

I've been completely invisible for about five days now, glitched out at a college quest and now I'm stuck being invisible.
Pretty annoyed about it.

I've found a solution to the arrows and icicles sticking out of your character problem. If you have joined the Companions in Whiterun and gone through the ritual to become a werewolf. All you have to do is activate the werewolf transformation, that gets rid of anything sticking out of your body. Once the transformation wears off you are back to normal. Well you will be unclothed but the fact remains anything sticking out of you is long gone.

Hope this helps.

Remove ALL arrows from your inventory- this will get rid of the arrows. For the ice spike, do combat against an archer and let some arrows hit you. This will get rid of the ice spike but leave arrows sticking out of you. Then remove all arrows from your inventory. No more arrows, no more ice spikes. Don't know about the invisible face/head thing, though. Haven't had that happen to my character.
