Imperials, they are pretty well spread out in skills. Magical items will do to take care of any magical needs.

Nord. I know its not optimal but I like playing an altered crusader type with the mage birthsign.

You haven't actually asked any questions here.. what exactly am I answering here? What races have I played? Which are my favorites? What I'm playing now?

I usually play as a dunmer because:

1. They looked wicked scweet in Morrowind. I mean WICKED. SWEET.

2. I usually play as a vampire, so the resistance to fire works out well.

I usually play a dunmer spellsword. Why is falmer not listed as a mod race?

I picked Falmer and Imperial (assuming you meant Altmer instead of Falmer)

I'm not sure what the question is. What is my favorite character race, six and class? Which ones have I played? Or which one I am playing now.

My current character is a female Argonian with a focus on magic and stealth, I've played both sixes, and almost exclusively play Khajiit and Argonians with the occasional orc, though I've made a few short lived characters of other default races and have sometimes played modded races, I think I've played most potential character types.

I have played Imperial and Dunmer races. I prefer Imperial over all and don't ever intend playing any of the beast races.

I almost always use magic and stealth.

And I am male and out of about 20 characters 2 have been a female.

As mentioned, your question leaves a lot to be desired; however I chose which ones I usually play.

In that regard I seem to be the only guy, so far, who (pretty much) consistently play female characters =P

(It's fine in a single player game, MMOs would be a whole different ordeal where I always play as male, hehe)

i voted male combat stealth dunmer, but i also like magic dunmer, imperials, nords, orcs and wood elves lol. i try to vary things up a bit. i like imperials and dunmer the most though. Imperials were better in OB cause of the imperial guard or whtever. also they need to make all the races more distinct. even if its between humans, like nords should have wicked beards and face paint and stuff. there should also be a diff between bretons and imperials cause i could never tell them apart.

I generally play as one of three characters:
1. Dunmer magethief (custom class; somewhat like a nightblade but focused more on stealing assissted by magic for infiltration and exfiltration/teleportation)[leans toward the thieves guild and studying in the mages guild]
2. Redguard swordsman (combat and stealth mixed for social skill, speed, and deadly power with a long blade)[ tends to do more fighter/legionarre quests]
3. Main Quest character (depends on region)(Race: local to the region)(class: generally a spellsword/battlemage or jack-of-all trades)(Made specifically for the main quest and expansions)

I usually play a couple of different character types:

Argonians-i find the whole water breathing and disease/poison resistance cool
Nords-usually big tough barbarian
Dunmer-either a spellsword, or my own custom thief-mage class

All males all the time, except for one playthrough with each game as a female, i enjoy seeing the different dialog and game options e.g. oblivion-siren quest

For races, I usually play as Imperials (well-rounded or agent-like characters), Bretons (obviously), or Dunmer (magic users). I am male and have made characters of both sixes, often not due to aesthetic preference but to compliment my riveting character backstories/roleplaying methods. I'd say I play them *almost* evenly, perhaps 3 male for every 2 female characters.

Concerning specialization, I enjoy playing as each of them and I generally try to avoid making hybrids as it takes away from the game's replayability. Intentionally gimping your class and even roleplaying out things such as forbidden actions makes for a much more interesting experience. However, if I were to choose, I'd say the cross between Stealth and Magic. Think of Imoen from Baldur's Gate. :)

I use Dunmer for my fighter characters, Bosmer for my stealth characters, and Breton for my magic characters. All male.. I find it difficult to make a female character.. I do not know why.

I use Any of the Human races and Orcs for combat, Elven and Breton for magic and stealth and Argonian and Khajiit for stealth.

I hate elves too much, and I don't like cats. So, the races I play end up being orcs, nords, bretons, argonians, imperials, and redguards. As to what they do, I will either go pure, or a mix of two skill types (often with more emphasis on one than the other). I don't like the do everything kind of characters. I also restrict myself to doing only what my characters would do.

For example, my argonian in MW is a mix between stealth and magic, so ideally he should be in the TG, a magic place, and MT. Well, he's a Telvanni through and through, and is in the Thieve's Guild (but refuses to do philanthropy). However, he refuses to be in the Morag Tong, because they're too "honorable." He doesn't give a rats ass about other people, only himself, his experiments, and screwing other people over for his own amusemant. He only joined the TG, so that he can learn on how to prey on people better, but plans on ditching them when he finds them a hindrance than a help. His back-story was that of plaguing a few towns and tribes along the border of Black Marsh, causing him to one day be arrested and sentenced to death for his 'experiments'. However, there was a mix up in the papers, and was sent to be the nerevarine instead of execution. The real nerevarine is currently dead, with his/her head on a pike in Black Marsh.

I also play only males, because I just can't RP a female.

My favorite Oblivion race is the Lineage 2 Darkelves. I changed them a bit though, because the original had such weird properties and I wanted them to be more like in Lineage 2. The original races where too much work to make them look any beautiful. I always played Breton before.

In Elder Scrolls, I usually prefer playing female:
  • Theres no romances here anyway.
  • Since its singleplayer, nobody can mistake me for a woman.
  • I prefer looking at beautiful women than at a dude.

My characters are typically male, Khajiit, and thieves. Humans and elves don't interest me. I do occasionally play modded races, like Moogles for example, and have a fascination with magic that will have me playing a mage on a whim. More often than not I combine the two specialties and end up with thief-mages.
