Now that we know the price of the game, how many character slots do you think we will get? How many do you want?
I think we will get 9, personally. One for each race.
I think I will only use 4.

I think we'll only get 3, honestly. They want to encourage faction pride, so if you can make a character for each race (3 per faction), then it kinda defeats that pride. I think they'll allow 1 for each province (or 3 for one province or whatever combination you want to make).
Probably 4, if they are avalible in the cash shop (Which I hope not), or 9, if they aren't. Personaly I always like to have one of everything in a game, so I'm hoping for 9 at least.
I'm betting on 6, but I only really will need perhaps 4. I would like to create some side characters for rp, so the more the merrier!
I'm just happy we don't have to pay for character slots because it is a subscription based game. I think they will give us more than 5 for sure.
I figure we'll get 6 (one for each class plus a couple floaters). I want lots of character slots. As in all the character slots.
They have said time and time again..... it is a vanity shop and is for fun stuff (I.e. Pets which have already been mentioned) and services like name changes etc. World of Warcraft has a vanity shop and Rift had a vanity shop that they sold mounts in when it was P2P.
We will get 9 character slots. One for each race.
No, they will not sell character slots, this isn't a B2P/F2P MMO.
lol, people don't listen do they. Everyone still thinks that we are going to be sold in game features through their Vanity Shop which we know sells services, like names changes and fun stuff like pets which has been mentioned time and time again. This isn't a new thing at all.
They clearly said we will get the whole game with the P2P model. They also said it will be a vanity shop, so character slots will NOT be sold separately.
I think around 8 slots has been the norm for a while now. Even Dark Age of Camelot had more than just 3 slots and they had 3 alliances too. Of course, there were more base classes that you could play there as well. I'm not sure if ESO just has the four or if there are more planned/released just not announced.
Personally I never use more than 4 slots in an MMO, but I voted for 9 because I think they will give us no more than 10... Being a subscription game and that their design goal is quality, I don't see them restricting on character slots.
