6 characters down, hoping number 7 will see me past lvl 35

When I hit the mid-30's with a character I just seem to always want to start over. My last character was an Altmer warrior/mage who I absolutely nailed gameplay with, but when I looked at him in 3rd person at lvl 35 in his legendary ebony, I thought 'who is this guy'? He had no story, no depth and thus gave me no desire to continue playing him.

I want to play the long game, but I need to feel invested in my character. So I decided to actually develop a CHARACTER as a pose to an avatar, and here's what I came up with:

I'm playing on Master btw.

Race: Khajiit
Name: Ra'Virr
Class: Ra'Virri
Major skills: sneak, illusion, alchemy, archery
Minor skills: pickpocket, speech, enchanting
'Rudimentary' skills (1-3 perks): one-handed, restoration

Backstory: The Ra'Virri are a clan of infiltrators, spies, and information-gatherers serving the Clan Mothers of Elsweyr in secret. They operate all over Tamriel, returning to Elsweyr between each mission and taking orders directly from the master Ri'Virr, who communes with the Clan Mothers. The Ra'Virri's short chain of command is their method of upholding trust in a circle of Khajiit who could deceive one another with little trouble. The stripping of birth names is customary as each Khajiit swears loyalty to the Ri'Virr, who directs their attention and resources, guided by the clan's greatest secret- 'sirra' (foresight), which is gifted from one master to the next. Ra'Virri Khajiit are also unusual in that they forego Moon Sugar during the length of their service, electing instead to keep their senses sharp.

A new Ri'Virr is selected by the previous leader when he or she steps down, taking into consideration the abilities of the thirty-or-so Khajiit beneath them. This dark-furred Ra'Virr had no equal among his peers, and it was with unspoken certainty that he would take the title of Ri'Virr when the current master stood down. However, his most recent order was to simply head north, and only to stop when 'the skies become unsafe'.

Upon reaching the border of Skyrim, Ra'Virr knew there was not much farther he could travel before his journey took him beyond Tamriel. Just as he considered that unwelcome notion, he spotted a band of Nords in blue approaching...

Would love to get some input. Do y'all think this character will see me through for longer than my previous ones? Maybe you have some tweaks to suggest?
