When you perform a melee charge attack (hold the attack button), it supposedly does double damage (anyone verify this?), but my question is what happens if you also score a critical hit with a charge attack.

Does it give you the critical bonus for one attack or does it give you a double critical bonus?

It depends on how much damage that your weapon does and it doubles it I belive, but who knows until the new patch comes out
