I believe all daedric artifacts should give the player a sense of Godlyness after playing for a long long time. Say each 100 souls you collect makes the daedric artifact slightly more uber. No upgrade ceiling so if you play long enough you're God... but the counter resets if you drop the daedric artifact whether willingly or someone disarms you.
Sanguine for example: each dremora who manages to kill and manages to survive until spell fades off gives you a special soul charge. Collect 100 of them and you get an extra dremora summon. It's very difficult to grow an army but the potential is there and more of a sense of achievement than typing tgm.
