Gee this is new and exciting. Boosters / cheaters acting tough on the internet acting like they'll maul everyone they play against. This hasn't been done before.

I hope someone posts a video of the boosters getting their asses handed to them online.

There'll always be cheaters and game-manipulators who don't use actual skill. Just play legit yourself, and if you run into douchebags like these, just move on, block them, and join games with other legit players. Gamers don't have any respect outside of the gaming community anyway, so there's no point in acting like you're hard; nor bent out of shape because of insecure cheats like these. Just move on and have fun.

Being good at the game has no bearing on your status as rank whores and XP boosters who waste their lives in persuit of fake and meaningless rank, then come here self promoting and bragging like anyone gives a ****.

Regardless, practically anyone can get dominant at a videogame if they practice enough, study the meta and have a full team communicating. It isn't Chess. Being moderately good at a 360 FPS doesn't make you some form of genius, especially when playing against randoms who have less free time than you to brush up simply because they have a fuller and more varied social life and set of priorities than mastering a videogame.

Go and expend your time on something actually meaningful and that you achieve without your cronies if you want any genuine respect. Personally, i'm about as impressed with you being good at Crysis 2 as I would be with a pre-teen bragging about his Pokemon collection. Good for you sonny. Have a sticker. I, however, am generally impressed and concerned with bigger things.

Nobody is boosting for Rank (At least of the people I know)!!! Like I said before.. people were boosting for camos in the next prestige. A lot of people I know stopped when they got the cell camo for their Scarab. That is it. It isn't for leaderboards. Some of the boosters do it for leaderboard rank. That is why I think Leaderboards the stupidest thing ever on games because they mean nothing. But the sad thing is, it isn't cheating. People are misusing that term even though I bet someone else goes to Webster's and post something.

Firstly we aren't cheating as it gives us no advantage in any way shape or form all you get out of it is a dog tag and a camo we were interested in what other camo's you could possibly get so honestly you're whining about absolutely nothing, and secondly none of us are coming to this thread bragging about our position we're just responding to the people who are trying to talk sh*t saying that we don't actually know how to play the game, and thus I responded simply stating facts. If you feel someone has cheated in game mark them as an avoided player, tell anyone you are playing with to do the same. If everyone does this they wont be able to join a lobby with another player that gave them a bad rap, the more people that do this makes it harder for them to get into games. If everyone did this people would start to realize that is doesnt pay to cheat or boost.

PS, Wrong is wrong, there is no grey zone here, either you are guilty or not. Even if you stats got reset due to a glitch does not justify your actions.

I see why and how you are trying to justify yourselves, but the long and short of it is this.
Someone boosts with their entire team, and the opposing team gets spanked, because the spirit of the game isnt there on one side.

Im not accusing anyone, I haven't actually seen any of the guys here do this, however it has happened to myself in the past and it made my time online boring, so much so, that I got rid of the game later that week as it seemed to happen way too often.

And in a pre-response to any "well just quit out then....etc", I shouldn't have to do this.
I shouldn't have to quit out for someone to cheat or boost or whatever, and if I ask someone to stop cheating, all of a sudden the generic, "noob" or your mum joke comes out.
Which does make me laugh, as most of the time I'm apparently the noob, despite being in the top 3 and the person calling me so, is in fact in the bottom 3....

To the poster that stated the way to play is the "pamphlet " that comes with the game try reading that and tell me were it even tells you how to pick up a relay let alone how to play the online game in any detail.

Look, unlike a good three quarters of the people here I respect other peoples opinions whether I disagree or not. Microsoft has already made it clear that "boosting" per se is not cheating. Unless you are boosting "to gain an unfair advantage" If getting mods and xp levels gives you an unfair advantage then it proves the game is unbalanced. I don't think it is though. I don't think the mods or xp make up for skill. I've seen people level 10 work a room. Somebody cried about how much money they paid for the game and Xbox live. Guess what dip ****, so did I. I'm not here to change anyones opinion. Cheating and boosting are two different subjects. Yes that is my opinion and it's suported by Microsoft Terms of Usage and the way Microsoft has enforced it's policy. If you don't agree, I respect that, but you aren't Microsoft and I don't pay you any money. Best of luck and have fun gaming.
