Despite being Canadian, I'm more comfortable in warmer enviroments. For some reason, I'm just more sensitive to the cold than most hardened Canadians.

Heat doesn't affect me like it affects others, so I guess I'll say warm. Really should be a poll though
I like chilly air with low humidity, which is why I live in Florida.
As someone who's been at both ends of this (grew up in S Florida, now reside in the midwest) I can honestly say I prefer the chillier weather much more. At least this way, when it starts getting too cold, you can still add more layers of clothing. When it gets hot (and humid) you can only take off so much clothing before you spend the night in the pokey.
@ Nightingale115: Which Florida are you living in, I don't remember a low humidity one when I was there.
While I enjoy warm weather on occasion, I'm ultimately a cold climate person. I just feel a lot more comfortable in the cold.
The winters here can be really cold, so that's nice.
Chilly. I hate it when it is hot and humid, I easily get headaches and sweat a lot.
I live in a humid environment and hate the humidity.
The humidity in Florida is so bad that it's not normal humidity. You can feel the stickiness in the air. You can smell it. It's ON you. It's horrible. If anyone here says they like humidity, you guys probably live in an environment with like 1% humidity. In Florida, moisture IS our air. It's disgusting.
I prefer chilly environments as I hail from one. California has some of the most perfect weather, at least when it's not smoggy.
the "not humid was irony", its always humid. if its
1. not humid but extremely cold, you are frozen; literally frozen, don't sleep on the grass during a snap freeze.
2. very humid and cold, you are in a spring. watch for snakes.
3. very very hot and not humid. you are on fire, visit 2 or enjoy your juicy roasted flesh.
speaking of florida, THUNDERSTORMS! are abundant, im in one!
Definitely chilly, I despise humidity. I grew up in a pretty hot environment with temperatures soaring up to 40°C, but it sure as hell didn't make me like it!
I prefer chilly weather. It's easier to warm up than to cool off in humid weather. Plus I really hate humid weather because I've been living in it for 18 years.
People always say this, but at a certain point (around 0 degrees) adding layers just doesn't help anymore and you either A. still feel the cold just as much or B. can't move because of all the clothing you have on.
So in light of that, 70-80 degree weather with dew points in the 50s is what I prefer. At night I like it around 75 with a nice warm wind.
A mix between the two to create the ultimate temperature: Comfortably average
But if I have to pick between the two, I'll go with warm. I almost never go outside in the Winter (despite being a Canadian myself, not that that would automatically give me 75% resistance to the cold...) because I hate the cold, and it's too much of a hassle to put tons of winter clothing on.
But, if we're talking about 'autumn chilly', as opposed to 'winter chilly', then I choose cold. Chilliness caused by wind in a somewhat warm environment is the best.
But lots of humidity svcks no matter what.
Yeah, it?'s too much of a hassle for me too, so that's why I don't do it at all. If I'm only to be outside for a short while (like 30 minutes) I'd just go outside in a t-shirt and shorts. When I go to uni--which is located at an even higher altitude and therefore even colder--I just pull a coat over my t-shirt. People say I'm crazy, but I like it, and I'm never sick either.
Typical winter weather here can be -15 C to -25ish. That's -13 F.
Humid. I'll take humid over chilly any day. But then, I love the heat and humidity.
Unless I'm stuck inside, I never feel the need to "cool down" when it's hot. Can't say the same thing when I'm cold. And it wouldn't matter where I was, being cold is far more discomforting than being hot (for me).
Never been able to understand this whole "can always put on more clothing" argument in support of cold weather. But then, I usually only hear that from the people who complain no matter what the weather is.
Neither, they are both terrible.
When it is cold I want it to be hot, and when it is hot I want it to be cold.
A nice and dry 65-70 is the best. You can do the conversion non-Americans. *scoff*
Chilly, for sure. You can reduce being cold with all sorts of clothing and heaters, but if it's hot out, you're freakin' stuck man. One building of the high school I went to didn't have ACs in the summer, so you just sat there slowly cooking and wanting to die. I took driver's ed in the summer at URI, and same deal. When it's cold, though, you just throw on a jacket or something like that, svck on a nice hot coffee, voila.
