Choosing a Netbook

I realise what all the downsides of a netbook are, but that's what I want because it's very small (&--#60;11") and portable, and I will only be using it to type notes during my lectures. I can no longer keep up using a pen.

I don't really have a lot of options though....

I have to buy them from that website because I have 400 EUR in my student smart card, and this store accepts smart cards. I can't buy from abroad otherwise I'd have to pay for the netbook myself.

It's simple to compare the specs between these netbooks, but perhaps some of you owned one from the list and you could tell me more about it. Battery life, how the keyboard feels, performance etc. There's a 50 eur difference between some of them, but the specs are similar. I'm wondering if that's got to do with the brand name.

I think Asus are better than Acer in the netbook department. Or not?

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Unless someone would suggest to me to get a tablet instead, and one of those keyboards which can stick to a tablet. I need to be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint though.

(Windows tablets or the iPads are too expensive, 400EUR is my budget)
