Got the pc version of this from a friend. It's the first time I've played a non-console game, so I am quite lost in the jargon (and steam....). Anyway, on to the problem:

From the get go I am getting some lag. In the first cavern, when you escape from helgen, I can barely look around without jumps in the screen. It gets worse when there are other people or creatures in the screen.

Any ideas on how to change this?

running on 64-bit win 7 with an i5 2310 runs at 2.9, 4gb ram, amd radeon hd 6550a card.
