Chrysler New Yorker vs. Chrysler Concorde Bike Rack Compatib

Post » Sun Aug 05, 2012 7:13 am

Does anyone happen to be knowledgeable in the topic of Chrysler vehicles? I drive a 1995 Chrysler New Yorker. I'm about to move and I'm planning on using my bike for the majority of my transportation in my new city so I figured it might be a good idea to buy a bike rack for trips. The problem? I'm currently looking at buying the "Allen Deluxe Trunk Mounted 3-Bike Carrier, Model 103DB” due to it's low price and good reviews (you can look it up on Walmart's website if you are so inclined) but it doesn't have New Yorker on its fit list. However, it does list the Chrysler Concorde which is a Sedan just like the New Yorker and according to wikipedia, the two are related.

Long story short, if I were to buy this bike rack, would it fit on my car? Any insight/nudges in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

After googling your car and the bike rack I wanna say that should work. I personally as a cycling enthusiast recommendhttp://www.saris.com/en/bike-racks/vehicle-racks/trunk-racks.html?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_images.tpl&product_id=28&category_id=7k but it's probably out of price range for what you want it for but it will virtually fit any vehicle.
