Civil war brilliance

Having done the civil war quests about umpteen times for the Imperial Legion and once for the Stormcloaks(My personal favourite is the Stormcloaks campagn btw) this brilliant piece of coding just put me into squeeing really devoted fan mode.
In this run I am a Breton spellsword, very fun build. I sat through the ceasefire treaty talk, then after Alduin was dragon toast I joined the Legion.
In the talks I chose to give up Markarth to the Stormcloaks.
I quickly took Dawnstar and Winterhold, having a Jarl who is positive towards the College is also a huge boon as I am the archmage.
Now for the first time I am retaking Markarth, General Tullius even has unique dialogue for it.
Paraphrased: Ulfric has enjoyed the silver mines long enough. Retake Markarth or die trying, because it was your "brilliant" strategy to give it up in the first place.
I love his hardcoe, hardboiled snarky self.

This is one of the many examples how Bethsesda goes above and beyond the call of duty in attention to detail and ingame depth.
My hat goes off to Beth, if I had a hat.
Simply brilliant, kudos to the developers and programmers, well done.

I agree, I really think Bethesda did an amazing job with just about everything in Skyrim and it really shows and makes the game feel alive.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to it as I just did the peace talks for the first time through 5 characters last night. I'm about to call this other dragon and see if he can give me some GPS coordinates for Alduin.

I did the same during the talks.....gave Markarth to Ulfric. I'm also interested in it returning to the Empire because that is who I will side with in this campaign. Markarth is my only home, so this was a bit risky to give it up. Given the alternatives, it seemed the best bet until I can manage the lizard issue.
