Note: I have not beaten either the Main Ques nor the Civil War Quest (haven't even decided who I should side with) so please keep the spoilers to a minimum.

While the whole Civil War questline intrigues me, I wonder who will end up being the winner lore wise (as in who's declared the winner in TES VI). As I have stated I have not beaten the questline yet, didn't even start it; a part of me thinks the stormcloaks might be the "canon" winners. Either that or I smell another Dragon Break coming.

Or they'll just find some way to adeptly ignore the issue and leave open the possibility that either side won, at least temporarily. That's what Bethesda usually does with that sort of thing, and they're very good at it too.
