.ckm files

Quick question;

...I installed a mod using Steam Workshop. After unsubscribing from that mod, it is still in my game. The .esp remains; I even re-installed it from Nexus using NMM, and then removed it-only to find that the mod remained. When I look in the mod's package, I see there is a .ckm file in addition to the.esp file; it's a simple task to manually delete the.esp, but I can't manually delete the.ckm file without knowing where it is (I have over 100 mods in, so searching all the file structures in my main directory has not panned out).

Anyone know where I can find the installation path for .ckm files?

Thanks in advance.

If you got the mod from SW, there should be a BSA with the same name as the ESP. Delete it.

Thank you; I will look for that.

...but, shouldn't I see a .bsa file in the packaged mod (I got the packaged version from Nexus, though)? Asking 'cause I don't know if (or why) the mods structure would differ between SW and Nexus.

...plus; where do you reckon this .bsa would be (the mod in question is a house mod). I looked in the Data folder, and the .esp is the only relevant file I find.

I would be happy to name the mod if it would help: I've refrained, thus far, out of respect for propriety-except I've made a request in the Nexus thread for this mod and gotten no help (no slur on anyone-we all have real lives).

Thanks again.

Can you give me a link to the mod on Nexus? It's hard to figure out without knowing what mod it is.

I appreciate your willingness to help with this.

Not sure how to link to a file, here. The mod is called Dovahkiin Estate.

Thanks again.

After yo Unsubscribe from a mod fire up the Skyrim launcher and click on Data Files. Select the mod you just unsubbed and at the bottom click delete. It will prompt you to delete the .esp for the selected mod and any files that were added with it.

It should be doing this automatically. I found it only after snooping around the launcher looking for extra options.

Thanks to you both for the help; that last seemed to do the trick-though I would still like to know what is being done, structurally, with the .ckm files.
