Classic or Slim?

Was just curious if that actually made a difference in people's gameplay. I myself have a slim and even though the game's buggy, it is still mildly enjoyable.

I have a slim as well, but I don't think it would matter much as long as your system isn't full of dust and [censored]. or just [censored] in general. a friend of mine has a classic, and he had (i robbed it{not actually "robbed"}) Fallout 3 GOTY edition, and as far as I can tell he didn't have any more or any less issues. After "robbing it" he didn't want it back, got to into call of duty, so i got to keep it

Sony is making it mandatory in all current and future SDKs to not support 'phat' PS3s at all. Only slim PS3s are supported from here on out. If you have a legacy 'phat' PS3 you might as well sell it because new games will purposely not work on it (note, this is totally 100% serious, Sony is discontinuing support for all PS3 phats especially launch models and PS2-compatible models. Only slim models will be able to play game from now on. Please read PS3 forums for more information)

I hope you're being sarcastic because if not, you're extremely misinformed.

To the OP, a PS3 is a PS3. They all run the game just the same.

that's what I thought, but I think I'll take a look at the Playstation forums. I can't see them just saying "we no longer support are older systems. buy a new one". it'd be like microsoft saying the same thing. but still, it wouldn't surprise me...

Once again, wrong...

It has to do with firmware upgrades. All PS3 systems will still work as long as you keep the firmware up to date. This has to do with people that refuse to accept the newer firmware versions that lock out security holes, and Linux support. Stop spreading this misinformation, please.

Unless you can actually provide a direct link from an actual PRESS RELEASE from SCEA, SCEE, or any confirmed accredited technician qualified to work on PS3 system side programming, then please just stop.

Well I have a fat 60 gig models, had it for 5 years, since the beginning. Never had any issues with it. I still enjoy my 50+ PS1 PS2 games.
I follow gaming world news everyday and that bulcrap about selling it to get a slim because game won't work on it... I mean comon, there are naive
people out there, don't give them an heart attack.
