I cleared Dead Men's Respite before going to Bards College.

I was stumbling along when I found Dead Men's Respite. I thought that it looked interesting so I decided to investigate. By the time I was about 95% done with the dungeon, I checked the wiki and found out that it's part of a quest for bards college. Did I just screw myself here? Would I have to do it again? Or what? NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I already finished it by the way.

EDIT: I just remembered that I had cleared Bleak Falls Barrow or whatever before (spoilers kinda )going to Whiterun where the court wizard would ask you to go there. Then there was the conversation option to say that "I already went there" or whatever and had no problems with the quest. I'm assuming that it's like this with all quests?

Sometimes that dialogue option comes up, sometimes it doesn't(if you got the item before being assigned the quest).
My suggestion is to go through the Bard quest if you want( I think it's one of the first quests, if not the first one) and see if it's bugged for you.
You could also check your inventory and see if you have any quest items that are not related to any quest that you're doing.
If it's bugged, and you're on the PC, you can use the console to get you out and progress onto the next step.

What do you mean? I still have all the quest items from that quest if that's what you mean.
