I just installed climates of Tamriel on my Skyrim with NMM. It worked fine for a few minutes, then I started getting a small snag, where the game freezes for about half a second about every 30 seconds to 1 minute.

I've deactivated the mod completely, and loaded a previous save file, but I'm still getting the snag. I'm just going to throw out a random guess and say maybe there's a script that's still running causing hang every time it updates? Just a guess.

Have any of you had similar problems? How do I fix this?
