Climbing in the next DLC would be great! Agility Perk Tree?

Post » Tue Aug 21, 2012 1:25 pm

I'd love to be able to scramble up mountains and climb trees, sprint and jump, etc.

I don't think it would break the game, as you would only have certain things climbable. But it would be a great time!

I'd love it, but I doubt it'll be included. They'd likely have to revamp the entire game world to allow for things to be climbable that weren't originally climbable.

It should definitely be included in future games though.

If it was done in ARENA and Daggerfall, it can be done now.

I think if the next ES game is set in Valenwood they should give us the ability to climb.

15 percent of the world space is already omitted since there is nothing interesting in area's you shouldn't be, namely the cities inside and immediately outside, then the rest of the worldspace 5 feet above your characters height in any one position or any that does not have a road, you're looking at at derp material here.

my two cents, I'd love more options but Skyrim isn't built around options.

The ability to climb should return regardless of what province the next game is set in, but Valenwood is the one that would probably use it the most.

Doesn't valenwood have freaking walking trees? How epic would that be, climbing on a walking tree that has a bosmer hut on it. AMAZING.

Yea, I hope they reconsider the skills and attributes necessary for acrobatic playstyle. I want agility, speed, acrobatics perk tree and assassination quests tailored for acrobatic solutions: climbing, jumping, platforming. Ropes like in Thief would be cool too.

Fix'd. Too late to make such a huge change into the game anymore. I hope Fallout 4 has some cover-taking, obstacle climbing, free-running etc. A destroyed urgan environment is made for parkour!

Doesn't really follow - the game engines are completely different, so the fact it was doable in the ancient games has no real bearing on the current ones.

This.

Well they could reintroduce it in Valenwood if its the next game. But I don't see them putting the ability to climb in anyway.
