Cloak Spells dismiss summoned minions.

Post » Thu Aug 23, 2012 4:25 am

Pretty much what the topic says everytime I cast a cloak spell it dismisses any summoned monster I have but if i cast cloak then summon the minion it has no problems. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yeah its one of the few reasons I don't really use those spells. That and the companions inability to not commit suicide at any opportunity.

There a great for a spellsword/battlemage build though. The cloaks adds melee damage when active and hurts those who come near you. I dont want some glitch to stop me from using them.

@RamnozackYeah but I get a similar effect from the ebony mail if I really want it, that costs me no magic and has muffle. To me that's just fine.

Not that I know of on 360, don't have a pc so I have no idea what mods or console commands may work. However casting the cloak spell first then casting summon won't negate either spell. Think like the court mage in Rifton only instead of ward first then summon, go cloak first then summon lol.
