Cloaks and capes

I've been learning 3D modeling using a book on Blender and am looking forward to implementing my models into Skyrim. While exploring Skyrim I came across one of those rocks with a banner nailed to it, the banner was flapping in the wind very realistically and in sequence with the wind. My one issue with many of Oblivion's cloak and cape mods was that the engine did not allow for realistic movement of the cloth. My question is; do you think it would be possible to apply the same wind effect to cape, basically making the cape non static, ie. fluffing out behind you as you ran or as the wind blew. If it would work, and not cause the physics did not cause it to go absolutely insane I believe it would work. Also if a more skilled modder would like to try it I would be indebted as I have not yet learned how to create the clothing as its own mesh. ( The book I'm using implements clothing design as a part of a body mesh).

Just some food for thought. Off for more research...

Static objects and worn items are far from being the same thing. A flapping flag was something possible in Morrowind, yet physics enabled clothing was still not possible in Oblivion. It depends on the format the models and skeletons actually use and how that works in-game. I don't think anyone will be able to experiment or answer this until after we have the ability to import models into the game and see how they react.
