Clothes and armor DLC - how much?

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 1:34 pm

I love all the range of armors I'm seeing in the game. I want even more and I'd be happy to pay for a sizable selection.

How much would a pack of say 3 more alternative armors of each type (i.e. same stats, crafting requirements, purely aesthetic difference) and a dozen more sets of clothes, all designed by the same guys that have done such great work on the vanilla ones, be likely to cost?

And how much would you pay?

Nothing, as I have already paid for the game.

I'd pay nothing. If I get new equipment, I want it to have new stats, but be well balanced and integrated into the game. But I'd be very unlikely to care enough about it unless there were serious oversights in the base game.

I wouldn't pay anything for that.

I want new, big, interesting areas to explore.

I doubt beth would waste their time creating a mini DLC just for clothes and armor. Wait for an expansion...I mean look at all the clothes armor and weapons you got in the shivering isles

Sure i would pay but not sure how much, and only if that wont interfere in proper expansion like dlc development.

What i want most are meaty Bloodmoon like DLCs!!!

Please, NO DLCs.

The only additions I would pay for are new expansions, akin to Shivering Isles.

I always want more armour/weapon designs but I wouldnt pay for it (thats the main reason i got the PC version so I can get mods later)

I feel like i was robbed of enougth money on the Fallout DLC's, as much as I love that game the DLC's were really not worth the money :(

I'm on PC so I'd hope mods would fill this need for me
It would be nice but really I'd rather Bethesda concentrate on faction mods and expansions rather than armour/clothing or houses which modders will make in vast quantity. Admittedly the quality of mods is variable but some are brilliant

I think Bethesda should come up with a DLC for our horse first ... like ... horse armor?

Seriously, I hope soon you will get a lot of new armor through user created content.

I would pay a whole lot of respect and gratitude to either a Beth employee, or, better yet, a talented modder.

@ the people who buy DLC....its your fault this is now the norm, and why its ripped from pre release games and sold as DLC

Have they not said they will not do those small DLCs? only larger ones like Point Lookout for F3.

Depends on whether the content answers to the price.

They already said they are basically going back to making expansion style DLC and not mini crap like Oblivion.

I'd sooner go to the Nexus and get free armour mods. Some damned skilled modders have been producing great looking armour and clothing over the years for other Bethesda games.

It would cost...let's see, carry the 2...divide by 6...a grand total of...NOTHING! Why? Because Bethesda doesn't make DLC like that and said that they wouldn't be making DLC like that. You'll get your new armor when they release the first big expansion/DLC.
