I recently got the PC version of Skyrim and I've noticed the controls for looking around seem to be very clunky and slow. Does anyone have any suggestions to make looking a little smoother?

The Skyui mod helps in making the UI much more pc friendly. As for keybinding, I'd say just play around with it until you fina a configuration you feel comfortable with.

The default sensitivity is quite low, so turn that up a bit in the options.

The game also has mouse acceleration. To switch it off: go to "My Documents - My Games - skyrim" and find the "SkyrimPrefs" file. Scroll down to the controls section and find "bMouseAcceleration". Change the value to 0.

Also, if you rebind the controls, do NOT change the E key otherwise you won't be able to pick up books.
