So once I got the quest I was instructed to spread the Legion's atrocities. So I went to Ghost, told her about what happened then approached the dude near the statue, I was given an option to just tell him what happened and to attack. What I did was attack the dude then other NCR peeps attacked me, but only those outside. So naturally I killed them all.

So my question is, does it make a difference if I kill the dude near the statue rather than just tell him what happened? For this play through I am siding with the Legion so I made the right choice, yes?
