Collectors Edition Box : Fallout: New Vegas

After massive searching on the intertubes i cannot find the answer to this question. Is the Box that the CE edition comes in a cardboard or metal box?

I have seen it mentioned both ways. i love my GTA metal box, and that was the only other CE i have purchased.

and i am having my tonsils out so i am planning on this game to get me through the 3 week recovery time.

To me, in the official picture, it looks like wood. I would really like if it was wood, actually. Cardboard would be kind of disappointing. But if you're looking for a definite answer, sadly we don't know what it's made out of yet.

Hopefully itis not cardboard because that is not an example of the qualtiy of the rest of the package

Leather. Or faux leather texture would be pretty cool. I like the wood suggestion too. It would be disappointing if it was cardboard because fallout 3 had the metal lunch box.

I think the box is made out of that stuff you make jewellery cases from. Some kind of special hard paper with some kind of covering

I'm hoping it'd be that rubbery cardboard kind of material that the Bioshock 2 CE was made from, that box is pretty durable.

It'll be made out of Clay Aiken CDs, they finally found a use for those things. :whistling:

It looks like pressboard (at least I hope its not just standard cardboard) with a textured vinyl covering.

Well its my understanding that the box is supposed to look like the package that your character was shot in the head for. Im guessing it'll be made out of a nice cardboard...

plywood, metal, plastic, anything but cardboard. That would be really cheap if it was.
