Hey guys was wondering if anyone knows the dimensions for the map in the collectors edition strategy guide.. was looking to get a frame for it and post it on my wall

I have no idea, all I want from that is the interactive map lol

BTW the map isn't the collector's edition. It's the same map for both CE and regular game purchases.

I think they are(Beth) doing a blog post about the map before release. It's supposedly the largest guide map ever made, period. If you haven't already, check it bethblog.com and read the blog about the guide(where I read this info).

CE SG looks really cool. If I had some extra cash on me...I'd have some extra cash!

Does the preorderbonus map have anythiong "Special" on it? I dunno...a location to a "cave" with some "treasure"?

The bonus map is just high quality paper, that's pretty much it.

The map does come with both versions of the guide. No idea of the size though, sorry.

Going by the only pic we have seen from http://cdnstatic.gamesas.com/bethblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/photo.jpg, it looks to be twice the height, and I am guessing probably 4x-5x the width.

So:
H 22.2" x W 33.6" - 44"

Granted it's just an estimate but that is as good as your probably gonna get till Friday.

Just a note, you can also get the map with the regular strategy guide.

The bonus to the Collectors edition is the fact that the book is hard cover, it comes with a built in bookmark(the little cloth bit you find in most bibles), and it includes a online map retailed for $15 dollars.


For those interested in the guides, get them from Amazon, $16 for the regular edition and $23 for the collectors edition. I believe this is half of what Gamestop and Bestbuy are charging them for.

i would get it from amazon but i work at gamestop so i get 15% off plus 10% for getting the guide with the game and another 10% for being a powerup pro member and no shipping cost lol

Save for the no shipping cost, you get 5% more off on Amazon. But I see your point in convenience. I was going to get the CE from amazon before my Prime membership expired(3 dollar overnight shipping ), but I ran out of funds.
