I am myself a collector, I did this since childhood and haven't cured until today, the thing is I moved from the house to a small appartment with my gf and since then all my collectibles are stuffed in boxes in a wardrobe.

I collect a lot of [censored] from bubble gum cards to Motorola cell phones, from bottle caps to fitness and karate magazines. I love all my collections and will never throw them away, on the contrary I start more and more collections everytime I like an idea.

I collect elder scrolls merchandise, although my collection is rather sad, i don't own the collectors edition of Morrowind or Oblivion for that sake...

I started a pc games collection (retail box only) but it's rather young, nothing to showoff yet. I have about 50 boxes, some of them collector editions. When I was a kid I collected Burago car models but my mom sold them all.

My collection of every scab I've ever had since I was 10 years old that I keep in a jar in our "Oh My!" curio cabinet in the dining room.

Really, I collect fonts of hand set antique metal type faces to be used in letterpress printing. 350+ fonts and growing.

I keep a collection of 50c coins. I've tried to start a $1 collection but I find myself using a lot of that collection.

Apart from that, Hot Wheels cars, Pokemon Cards, video games, Top Gear magazines, fossils, globes ( ), maps.

You sound like a hoarder.

The only collection I have is a book collection, really.

I like real bugs collections, I have around 50 and growing. Atm I keep them in the original case, but I've been planning to build myself a showcase cabinet with backlights. I'll post the pics here when I'm done.

I collect games both digital and physical, quite pointless but it's a hobby and i tried to stop but couldn't really resist it and my total collection is around 2500 atm and i have most of the stuff placed where i had books since i'm not into reading anymore.

Wow that's truly impressive! Do you have many collector editions?

No only few collectors editions mostly standard games, i've maybe 4 or 5 CE's but yeah it took a while to get it though i haven't buyed all myself.

I used to collect small scale model lightsaber replicas. I've got about 8 or 9. I figure that because the company that made them went out of business, they will be worth a lot in 20-30 years.

Me too, I have 287 from Oblivion and 575 in Skyrim.

I collect books mostly art books and started collecting collectors edition of games.

Do I collect stuff? You bet.

I recently got back into collecting Comics. Right now they are in a stack on my computer desk. It's not very large yet. But add my new collection to my old collection from when I was a kid and it's pretty large.

I also collect Star Wars Figures (Action Figures). It's also quite large, no vehicles... well I do have a few vehicles.

I collect HO scale slot cars. I even race some of them. The most expensive one I own currently cost me about $100 to build. I haven't bought any new cars for a few years though.

I also have a small collection of Air Soft guns. Nothing major.

I collect video games, mostly PC. I've got a decent sized collection. Few collector's editions (Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas).

My wife hates all of my hobbies because they cost money.

Ya my workmates can't understand why I spend so much on music cd's and dvd's while they spend everything they have on gas, junk food and clothes and "borrow" the music. I started this when Michael Jackson was black and music came on tapes, you morons. A collection is a collection, it has a soul. My soul.

Over 200 games... Mostly JRPGs. would be higher if I could read/understand Japanese

Let's see... DVDs, I have around 700-800 of those and the collection is still growing.
Film magazines. I have a subscription to Empire magazine, and before that I used to buy them every month, there's a nice pile of those now since I don't like throwing them away.
Video Game Guides, quite a small collection since I only get them for my favourite games, but I like to have them.

i used to be a collector until i realized i was getting close to a hoarder, i had collections that i had no room to store properly so i had to get rid of most it and stop collecting (sadly)

i still hang onto parts of my old collections that are valuable like my comic books, old coins, etc.
