I saw a screenshot of a loading screen from Skyrim, and it had a blood soaked Orc with two axes (Looked badass) He was wearing greaves but no shirt. Was this an accurate picture of an Orc? or was it along the lines of concept art? It was in-game so I didn't think it would be concept art, but they said there was merged armor. Does anyone know the answer?

Was he wearing no shirt at all? The chest piece could of been a strap or a pauldron.

He could have just been wearing pants?

OR perhaps they only combined torso and greaves together when they felt that it was necessary? Like when the torso covers the greaves alot?

The armor's connected, but not regular clothes.

It's possible that there are armors that are only the greaves. But you can't pick an upper part to combine with the greaves, since there is only one slot for that.

Armor is merged, clothing is merged. This was a possibility we discussed a long time ago....You cannot wear those pants with another shirt, because the naked upper half counts as the cuirass. Im sure if a female character puts it on, there will be clothing on the torso.

Because he was wearing an armor set that has no shirt. You can't combine that one with a cuirass. It always looks like that.
