Comics...

So, when I was little I bought comics pretty much weekly. As I grew I stopped. But every time I'm near a book store or comic shop I go in. I never buy anything but I look. I want to buy something, the problem is. I haven't bought a comic in a very long time and don't know where to start.

When I was growing up I loved the Punisher but now when I'm in the store I find myself gravitating towards Batman and Superman, Spiderman, Deadpool.

In fact, I was just in a Barnes &Noble and I had Batman: Year One in my hand. Is this a good jumping off point?

ny help here would be appreciated.

Since you've matured, maybe you should try graphic novels? I can definitely recommend Watchmen, if you haven't seen the film.

I'll check it out. I'm about to go back into the book store. I think I'm also going to buy Year One.

The only comic I've read was Superman: Red Son, but it was pretty good. But then a sample size of 1 isn't much to go by.

The only comics I've read were Simpsons comics, and a centennial park superman comic which my dad bought me for Christmas. I didn't really like the comic but I got a cool statue superman thing. I might start reading Batman comics as I love the Dark Knight films.
