Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool OP. Can't wait to see what else he says. As a side note, he's obviously a Nord working for the Empire. I know that's not a huge deal but I thought it was interesting.

From some of the journalist previews it sounds like race has some interesting stuff going on this time around.

Actually I think the decision to "forget the list" from the lady captain might be changed if you are not Nord. Seriously even if they want to make sure to kill all the storm cloaks, it wouldn't make sense to conclude you are one if you are an imperial in the first place.

Well done.
I just don't like the fact that this guy presumes that you, a Nord, are directly FROM Skyrim. What about all those who decide to rp as a Nord born elsewhere and "Miraculously" brought them to Skyrim 200-300 years from the previous ES game!
(Not Me, btw)
And another thing, if we WERE playing a Nord born in Skyrim...wouldn't our maps pretty much be full of KNOWN locations? Couldn't we just then Fast Travel anywhere we wanted?

Whoa, the Empire has to have loads of other races other than Imperials in their ranks!
And "forget the list" may just aswell pop up for everyone else.

Stormcloaks are basically rebels/freedom fighters to free Skyrim from Empire control. An imperial will not exactly have a vested interest in risking his life to achieve that kind of goal. So he is the most likely to get a pass from the lady captain. The other non-Nords might or might not depending on how female-dog-y she is.

Not necessarily. I'm thinking there likely will be Imperial Stormcloak members through ex-Blades, any of their supporters, members of the Talos Cult or just worshippers of Talos. Just as some Nords like Hadvar are fighting for the Empire against the Stormcloaks.

Oh, not necessarily. I think he may be talking in a sense that all nords come from Skyrim. I mean, you'll see Nords everywhere, but their true homeland really is Skyrim, and that's where their ancestors came from. It's not like he knows you personally or anything to tell if you've been there before.
