Just curious as to what sort of RP communities are forming. As this is one of the few MMO's with such a developed world to draw on I feel it has the potential to really draw in crowds of people who like to drive their own stories in game. This should be very possible if this is a true ES game. In all other ES games the non-linear complete freedom a player had basically allowed them to craft their own persona and legend within the universe. So many factions and legends to infiltrate/conqueror/join left endless possibilities.

Given the mega servers and the ability to choose a subset instance of like minded player I was hoping to start feeling out the RP community. I think this game has tons of potential for some awesome RP. Just curious to other's thoughts.

....where did you hear that there are voluntary subsets to the mega-server? Are you talking like a choice between PVP, PVE, RP servers? Or are you talking about the ability to just have friends/guildies stay with you on the same instance that they've talked about before?

I'm hoping it's the earlier... because mixing RP players with the (for lack of a better term) Warcraft-minded players is going to end VERY badly...

They have said in several interviews that you will fill out a little questionare. So I'll say I am looking for late 20s to early 30s players who like to RP and focus on PvP. They will then do a little e-harmony matchmaking magic happen and instance you with players who filled out similar answers. So if you put 15 year old HALO xbox live grandmaster, you'll be instanced with all the other mouth breathing "you mad brah?" mongoloids.
