People keep saying that the Companions are cursed (referring to their Werewolf problem), but didn't each one willingly accept being a werewolf after those who were originally cursed by the witches? I mean they give you this ultimatum like "to join the inner circle you have to drink some werewolf blood and curse yourself'. Really? Why? Can't any of the warriors in the Companions just say ... well no? NO I do not want to be a werewolf and I am skilled enough to be in the inner circle so let me in anyway? Why did any of the warriors after the original one's who were tricked ever agree to have themselves cursed also? This whole 'curse' thing should have ended after the originals warriors who were tricked died.

And why would those who were tricked want others to be cursed also? Why make it a requirement to be in the inner circle? The original warriors realized they were tricked. They realized they were cursed. So they just continue the curse by making anyone wanting to be in the inner circle drink their blood and be cursed also?

Does this make sense to anyone? I understand it's supposed to make them better warriors ... but we all know it really doesn't. Well maybe if you were a level 5 fighter.
