I had found a answer to this awhile back & cant find it again..used different terms & not finding the answer...sigh i know i know i should have bookmarked it...anyways i have a glitch with my 3rd character...i dont get any quests from vilkas (i believe)...i can get quests from his brother & aela til the cows come home but not him....

also i am waaaaaay past the point of skyjor being dead but yet i went back after doing a bunch of quests for the companions & getting 2 totems with aela etc...so i go back to jarrvaskr (sorry spelling) & ahhhh helloooo he's there alive & well ??? wth!!! and he actually gave me a quest i would usually get from farkas!!! what is up with that??

I had written about this same thing not too long ago. Apparently it is a known bug. You can ignore him as I did. By the way I found his dead body in a castle again 2 days ago. Don't know if he'll stay dead this time...

Pretty well known bug. He's risen from the dead.

Count yourself lucky, better to be alive than dead.
