Hi,

Does anyone know if equipping companions with armor (helms, body armor, boots etc) actually improves their defense rating?

I ask this becaue in Fallout 3 it was only just for show.

Also I'm equipping Lydia with body armor, but she doesn't change into it like the previous follower I had.

Edit: I messed up with the title. Should be "Companions & Their Armor"
