Hi again,

Im having a little trouble getting Hjerim in Windhelm.

Ive completed Blood on Ice quest but Jorleif won't put the house for sale .

Is it something more I need to do?

i think most people are lucky if they can finish it, apparently it's bugged like hell

I did successfully the first time im not sure about this time. Plus you need to join the right side of the rebellion.

Where are you currently in the civil war quest line? In many instances, the house will only go on sale, if you have proven yourself, either to Ulfric as a Stormcloak, or to the new Jarl who will take his place, once you defeat Ulfric. I remember that Hjerim was one of the last houses I acquired, after finishing the civil war on Ulfric's side.

It has nothing to do with the Blood on Ice quest line.

That's pretty much what I've already said. You need to advance the Civil War quest line, in order to buy Hjerim.


Well, then I would look for another house. You won't get Hjerim anytime soon.

Shortest way to get it is to join the Stormcloaks, Ulfric lets you buy the house about halfway through. If you join the Empire you have to complete the questline.
