You guys remember the Oblivion trailer when it came out? Patrick Stewart's voice started talking and my heart started beating faster. Or how about the Skyrim release trailer. When I heard the music and recognized how similar it was to Morrowinds I'm pretty sure I started shaking I was so excited.

Then the trailer for TES:O comes along....and nothing. Just a copy trailer of the Skyrim launch trailer, but much less detailed, less epic lines, and a much less talented voice actor.

I think this bodes poorly for the game

I duno I got chills just cause the TES Theme is amazing.

Same. The TES theme has always sent chills down my spine.

I thought the VA was good, but it did bug me that they did the same thing here as with Skyrim. Next it'll be the 'official' trailer, which is mixing the announcement with some actual visuals.

Some of you are just grasping at straws at this point. Youre seriously throwing a tiff about a minute long trailer?

I agree with OP, the trailer is underwhelming. Even for a teaser starter, it could have been more epic and make more sense visually. The music is epic though.

You chose that you will not like this game. And you will look for any excuse to not like it.

However, I agree that the trailer wasn't great.

Yeah, that music in the background wasn't nearly chill-inducing as songs in the past games.

Much less inspiring than the Skyrim theme anyway.

Michael Gambon* is an excellent actor, just because he probably isn't known for much other than Dumbledore outside of the UK doesn't mean he is any less talented. Easily as talented as Von Sydow and Stewart.
