Concerns about AI

I assume a scope was put into the game to snipe. The problem here is that when you target a npc with it from a good distance, they just stand there and take the shots til they fall over dead. This is typical of AI that we've all seen before for a decade. This is on Veteran difficulty.

Can they say to their friend, or themselves, "oh ****, bullets, take cover, let's rush or flank or something.

Also, there are many areas in the city where the npc patrols walk single file down a sidewalk or some similar area. A player just lines up the shot and unloads on all of em once cuz they were single file. They should always be staggered and spread out whenever the game environment permits. These npc patrols are guns-for-hire so they shoulda read a field manual at some point in their npc careers ;)

Crysis used to have one of the best AI ever made. Used to.
Crysis 2 don't have one. C2 is a target range on the form of a game.

Are you being serious? Crysis' AI was nothing special, and 2's is no different.

Seriously though, pretty lacking in the OMGCOMBAT! department, i calmy eliminate all my targets and move to the next area.

thankfully the cinema like quality really plays well. I still enjoy the single player, but it would sure have been nice to have enemies that felt scary.

I'm really disappointed with the AI too. Crysis didnt have any special AI, but seems like Crysis 2 is even worse. I hope they can release a patch for it in the future.. I hate when i shoot at an AI, and he takes cover, but the other AI right next to him, just walks calmly towards me not realizing I'm shooting in his direction, killing his partner. lol

Are you being serious? Crysis' AI was nothing special, and 2's is no different.

I've never seen a korean throw a granade against the wall and die or try to walk through a wall.
CELL guys are just plain dumb.

I've been seeing that grenade thing the more i've played now. One killed himself and 2 others by throwing grenades at walls or columns or pillars. At another instance I was on a rooftop 40-50m away atleast, and they were throwing them just a few meters, no more than 10, in front of themselves into their own forces. I got inbetween two of those armored vehicles and one destroyed the other as I cruised through lol

First few levels they're pretty good at avoiding nades. However it's evident that they're referencing your location all times even if youre flanking and not updating their position. Stealth mode seems to delay at some points but there is that suit switch time have to keep in mind.

I've had a few times where CELL spawn on top of me.

First scenario with the first CELL vehicle, i had cleared the courtyard of the few soldiers then turned to vehicle and shot out the front and back tire, the driver and passenger doors opened and 2 soldiers climbed out and then one mounted the HMG out of thin air and then 2 more appeared in the yard and the alarm went off...
